CS 671: Introduction to Natural Language Processing

Course Contents:

A computational framework for natural language. A framework such as LFG, GPSG or Panlni in some depth. Partial description of English or an Indian language in the frame work, lexicon, algorithms and data structures for implementation of the framework.

Introduction to semantics and knowledge representation. Some applications like machine translation, database interface.
