Abstract:

Cloud computing is the new way of computing that enables end users to make use of huge, distributed computational & storage resources (the `Cloud') using thin clients that typically connect via internet.
This talk would be a brief introduction to Google's way of cloud computing. We will talk about some of the challenges involved and the technologies that enable Google to scale to process and store petabytes of data in the cloud. The talk would also highlight Google Hyderabad's involvement in enabling cloud computing for the Enterprise domain. Back to Seminars in 2009-10
