Abstract:

As advanced phones become commonplace we need to better understand how to build usable applications for mobile devices. This talk will provide an overview of how to think about applications built for the mobile phone, and how their unique place in our day to day lives informs us about how mobile user interfaces should be designed. In addition to this, the talk will go over methods of prototyping and testing mobile user interfaces.
