Abstract

With the increase in the availability of the space in the VLSI circuits, the lot more hardware can be packed in a single chip. For the modern embedded systems, low power and high speed are two major performance goals. The current system design puts a high challenge on the system design methodology as well as tools. In this talk we explore the flow of the embedded system design mainly with the focus on the system-on-chip design techniques. We then also describe the challenges and techniques for the tool developer as well as the users.
