Abstract
In this seminar, IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) will be introduced briefly. After that, issues related to data (information), databases, computer programmes, and embedded programmes will be discussed.
About the Speaker
Ashok Mittal has received his BTech (Hons., ME) and MTech (IE & OR) from IIT Kharagpur in 1969 and 1972, respectively. He received his MS and PhD (both in Operations Research) from Case Western Reserve University in 1973 and 1975, respectively. He is a faculty member in IIT Kanpur since 1975, and is currently a Professor of Industrial Management and Engineering.
