Board Members of the Foundation
The foundation is managed by an Advisory Board that decides the policies of the foundation including the kind of research activities to be supported. The advisory board members are :
- N R Narayana Murthy, Chairman Emeritus, Infosys.
- Director, IIT Kanpur.
- V. Rajaraman, Honorary Professor, SERC, IISc.
- Keshav Pingali, Professor, University of Texas at Austin.
- Jitendra Malik, Professor, University of Berkeley.
- Ashok Chandra, General Manager, ISRC, Microsoft Research.
- Head, Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Kanpur.
Apart from this a Technical Board decides whether to fund specific requests for funding from the foundation, e.g. workshops, research proposals etc. The board is comprised of the following members :
- Keshav Pingali, Professor, University of Texas at Austin.
- Jitendra Malik, Professor, University of Berkeley.
- Ashok Chandra, General Manager, ISRC, Microsoft Research.
