Homework 2 - Implicit Learning and Expertise
In this homework, you have to read two articles: (1) chapter 1
from Arthur Reber's book (see the internal
Readings page)
and (2) the
MITECS article on expertise by Anders Ericsson.
You have to discuss the topic at least once in the the same
groups that you had formed last time,
and then write a 1-page essay (~200-300 words) on the question:
"The role of tacit knowledge in expertise".
Please feel free to change the title, keeping to the spirit of the
discussion. The word length is also not too strict, but don't
make it too long. Please mention any sources you read as an inline
HTML link, or as a reference at the bottom.
Feel free to quote material from any authoritative sources (including
useful webpages) that you read, If you use images, please give a
link to the source. In all cases DO NOT ___DO___NOT___
just insert text from others' writings without citing AND quoting them.
Plagiarism will be seriously penalized.
