Experiment
The designed experiment works as follows:
Instuctions to take the test:
- Press the start button to hear the audio clip. The audio clip consists of 3 parts(clip1, clip2 and a single word) seperated from each other by beep sounds. Clip1 will be heard first and contains 3-5 words(depending on the test trial number). You have to remember the words in clip1. These words might or might not be meaningful english words.
- Clip1 is followed by a beep sound which will then be followed by clip2.
- After clip2 ends, you will hear a beep sound again which will be followed by a word which was either present in the clip2 or not. You have to identify the word as contained in clip2 by pressing the yes button or not by pressing the no button.
- After this, you will be asked to type in the words of clip1 which you were supposed to remember.
NOTE2: Take a practice test before taking the actual test. THIS IS COMPULSORY. You can take the Pactice Test as many times as you want till you are comfortable with the audio.
NOTE3: You have to take the test for 15 trails.
IMP: Do not use pen or paper while taking the test. It is an auditory task. Also, do not replay the audio.
