Title: Improving ORAM performance. Abstract: Applications in the cloud are vulnerable to several attack scenarios. An Untrusted cloud operator can examine addresses on the memory bus and use this information leak to violate privacy gurantees, even if data is encrypted. The ORAM construct was introduced to eliminate such information leak but the overhead associated with ORAM is very significant. Several techniques have been proposed to reduce these overheads. Relaxed hierarchical ORAM, Dynamic Prefetcher for ORAM and Secure DIMM are among the approaches to reduce these overheads posed by ORAM.
