Abstract: The one-day tutorial is aimed at introducing the participants to functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), focusing especially on processing of fMRI data. The workshop will introduce the basic concepts of MR Physics, pre-processing and statistical analysis of fMRI data. Brain connectivity analysis, applications of fMRI in Cognitive Neuroscience and other recent advances will be touched upon. The basic data processing pipeline will be demonstrated and if computational infrastructure is available, a hands-on session is also being planned. The expected outcomes of the one-day tutorial are gaining familiarity with fMRI as a tool for Cognitive Neuroscience investigation, exposure to the data processing pipeline and appreciation of recent advances in the domain of fMRI.
