• Thu Nov 13 10:45:56 IST 2003: Final project reports are due Monday, 17 Nov 2003. See instructions here.
• Wed Oct 22 13:37:59 IST 2003: Readings for Wed, Oct 29 2003 have been assigned. There are two papers (second one is an easy read). See here and here. A hard copy of the papers will be available in the usual copy place by Thu, 23 Oct 2003.
• Fri Oct 17 21:50:10 IST 2003: Reading for Tue, 21 Oct 2003 has been assigned. See here. A hard copy of the paper will be available in the usual copy place by Sat, 18 Oct 2003.
• Fri Oct 10 22:46:47 IST 2003: Assignment-2 has been assigned, due Mon, 27 Oct 2003, 23:59:59.
• Wed Sep 10 16:09:05 IST 2003: Submission instructions for assignment-1 have been updated, please take a look at the Assignment-1 web-page.
• Sat Sep 6 02:19:12 IST 2003: Assignment-1 has been assigned, due Sat, 20 Sep 2003, 23:59:59.
• Sat Aug 30 17:48:43 IST 2003: I will have regular office hours starting coming Tuesday: 2-4pm. I will be available (with high probability) in my office during this time, if you want to meet me for anything.
• Mon Aug 11 23:29:48 IST 2003: Reading for Friday, 22 Aug has been assigned. It will be available at "A1" copy shop in 1-2 days (if not, ask Mona Sharma).
• Fri Aug 8 11:13:50 IST 2003: Project proposals are due Friday, 22 Aug 2003. Project proposal should be a 1-1.5 page description of what you will be working on. This should include the background, problem description, equipment/software required (if any), etc. I have mentioned the details to individual project groups anyway. Groups doing surveys should include an initial list of references -- papers that they will be reading in depth. The number of references to include depends on the group size -- average of about 3-4 per person in the group.
• Tue Aug 5 00:02:05 IST 2003: Reading for Fri, Aug 08, has been assigned. It will be made available at "A1" copy shop in the shopping centre today (Tue) morning. As with the previous reading, make your copy, and leave the original there.
• Mon Aug 4 15:26:55 IST 2003: Project sign-up sheet, and appointment sheet for project discussion are stuck outside my door. Please form project groups among yourselves and sign-up on these sheets. Ensure that your group appears on both sign-up sheets.
• Mon Aug 4 11:25:22 IST 2003: There will be two sign-up sheets outside my door. One is for indicating your project interest. Note that you are simply indicating your interest at this stage. You can choose from my list or choose your own project. Also indicate your group. In the second sign-up sheet, choose a suitable 15-minute slot when your group can meet with me (of course, ensure no clashes in timings).
• Mon Aug 4 11:25:22 IST 2003: New class timings will be: Tue 10-11am, Wed 9-10am, and Fri 10-11am. Classes will be in room 101. (No Tue class this week since we had a Mon class).
• Mon Aug 4 11:25:22 IST 2003: Teaching Assistants will have office hours as follows:
  • Sreekanth Garigala: Mon 4-4:30pm (Room 301)
  • Sachin Goel: Wed 11-11:30am (Room 315)
  • Mona Sharma: Fri 4-4:30pm (Room 304)
  You can clarify any doubts you may have about the course material with the TAs during the specified office hours. You can come to me if the TAs cannot answer.
• Sun Aug 3 23:35:33 IST 2003: Project list has been updated, please have a look. Projects will be in groups of two or three.
• Sat Aug 2 00:13:46 IST 2003: Reading for Mon Aug 04 has been assigned (only two pages).
• Sat Aug 2 00:13:46 IST 2003: There will be a guest lecture on OSPF on Wed Aug 06, by Dr. Mukul Goyal, Visiting Professor, IIT Kanpur.
• Mon Jul 28 11:26:27 IST 2003: Reading for Wed Jul 30 will be available at "A1" photocopy centre in the Shopping Centre (starting around noon today). There will be one copy there -- you can make a copy for yourself, and leave the original there. Please do not remove the staples while copying as it may lead to some page being misplaced. There are supposed to be 12 pages (277-288). Please email me if you face any problems.
