Q1. How do I get my ID card?

Identity cards are issued by ID Cell only after the admission/employment.

Q2. How do I get a duplicate ID card or a new ID card if I lost old one?

Duplicate identity cards are issued by the ID Cell after submission of old identity card. In case the old identity card is lost, a lost card fee is charged by the institute and can be paid in the A/C section, then after ID Cell will issue a duplicate identity card.

Q3. How do I change my Password and local address?

The password and local address can be changed by a card holder himself/herself if he/her has an access to the smartcard reader. It can be changed by ID Cell at any time. To change password download password modification utility package.

Q4. How do I update my fingerprint information?

The fingerprints are given at the ID Cell. The shells also update the same in the ID Cell. The fingerprint can not be updated by card holder or any body else.

Q5. What will be the expiry date of my identity card?

There are two valid dates. The identity card has a printed Expiry date based on the expected completion date of student program or employment. The card chip also stores a validity date which is same as expiry date in case of employees and the end of the semester in case of students. The date will be automatically updated at the time of registration of students.
