Computational Linguistics, Historical Linguistics

Ongoing Work

During my PhD, I have developed algorithms for several Computational Historical Linguistic problems namely phonological reconstruction, cognate detection and statistical testing of genetic relationship among languages employing language models and other techiniques largely inspired by Evolutionary Biology.
