Det Norske Veritas (DNV) AS, Norway is one of the leading companies in the world for providing services to manage risks. It has instituted a PhD Fellowship in CSE.

The chosen candidate will work in the area of System/Software reliability and safety or Software procurement/software outsourcing. DNV is likely to invite the student to its facilities in Norway during summer to present the work and to interact with its researchers.

Salient Features

• The fellowship will be used to support the fellow for 3.5-4 years.
• During the period the fellow will receive an annual grant of about Rs.2.60 lakhs. Out of this grant, Rs. 1.8 lakhs (Rs.15,000 per month) will paid as stipend.
• The remaining money can be utilized by the fellow for purchase of books, journals, payment of tuition fee, and travel for domestic and international conference attendance.

Selection

The students who have secured admission into the Ph.D. program are eligible for selection as DNV Fellow. A separate application on plain paper must be submitted for the same at the time of entrance test/interview.
